Riccardo Calabro’ is currently employed at Qualcomm as Senior Manager Pruduct Marketing and is in charge of several strategic technologies areas and in particular of LBS technology; he takes care of the European as well as of the Russian/CIS market and customers.
His current responsibilities include development of the location based services (LBS) market based on Qualcomm’s Location solution, with a primary focus on market/business development and project management, enabling the LBS ecosystem.
Riccardo Calabro’ has more than 12 years of experience in the telecommunications industry working with companies across the telecommunications value chain, including wireless and wireline service providers and equipment manufacturers and has an in-depth knowledge of wireless market. He has held different responsibilities in R&Ds department and in Marketing and his experience and expertise includes business strategy, technology strategy development, product/project management and marketing, and service delivery.
Prior to joining Qualcomm, Riccardo worked for different companies as Siemens, Marconi Mobile, Allied Telesys and Navigon. In his experience he has been responsible of developing 3G products, network and handset side, and in defining Location Based products and solutions.

Tina is the Regional Director for South East Asia of the CDMA Development Group (CDG) responsible for supporting the CDMA2000® carriers in the region with their adoption and evolution of 3G CDMA wireless systems, focusing primarily on devices. Asia-Pacific represents the largest world region in terms of CDMA subscribers, and leads in the deployment of the latest innovative services and applications.
In addition, as former Chairman of the International 450 Association (IA450), she now Chairs CDG’s industry initiative the CDMA450 SIG (Special Interest Group), which was formed as a result of the unanimous vote by IA450 members to merge with the CDG in June 2008. The CDMA450 SIG supports the evolution and global deployments of CDMA450.
Tina is a recognized expert in mobile devices and has extensive operational and business experience in the communications industry spanning CDMA450, TETRA, Analogue 450 LEMS, GSM and ETACS. |
